This site is for musicians and students to download the sheet music and listen to the recordings of musician and composer, Caleb Hugo. He has written for a broad spectrum of instruments and ensembles. These compositions include pieces for band and orchestra, concertos for saxophone and bassoon, many unaccompanied solos, and compositions for both mixed and traditional chamber ensembles. All of his work is available here to be listened to, downloaded, and performed.
Caleb Hugo also enjoys writing essays about music, Christianity, and aesthetic theory. Being a passionate Christian composer, he has written several essays about these subjects. He hopes to one day turn these musings into a book that will be useful to both his contemporaries and future generations of Christian composers. You may also enjoy looking through Caleb's small collection of academic papers which he wrote during his time at Cornerstone University and Michigan State University. While these were originally written for a grade, they are here to be both used and enjoyed by other students who may be writing on similar topics.
Caleb is constantly writing new compositions and adding them here to be downloaded and used. If you would like to stay connected to hear about new pieces, you can subscribe on YouTube, like Always in Transition on Facebook, or connect to his blog. You can also write to him with any questions about his compositions, requests for new pieces, or just to say hello. He would love to hear from you.
